Why is my AC running but not cooling?

The most common causes are clogged filters or a dirty coil, low refrigerant due to a leak, and a weak fan or capacitor. Start by cleaning the filter; if cooling doesn’t improve, request a technician to diagnose it.

Does a freon refill fix the problem for good?

Not always. A healthy AC doesn’t consume refrigerant, so if it’s low there is usually a leak that must be repaired first — otherwise the problem returns.

Why is my AC leaking water inside the room?

Usually a drain line blocked by dust or algae, an indoor unit that isn’t level, or a coil that freezes and then thaws. Clearing and adjusting usually solves it.
